Brides for the Cure present the Baton Rouge Chapter of
Susan G Komen a check for $3,650!

 

Jeff Boykin, owner of Perfect Wedding Guide, La presented the check during the 2008 Annual Race for the Cure in Baton Rouge.  Louisiana's First Lady, Supriya Jindal, was on hand as Tammy Asmus, President of the Baton Rouge Chapter accepted the check along with  Katherine Haxthausen , Komen Headquarter's Affiliate Relationship Manager and Alicia Chatman, Secretay and Race for the Cure Co-Chair.

The money was raised duing the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal show on February 17th, 2008. $2,250 were in donations from Brides! The other $1,400 was from ticket and shirt sales.
